A Note on Methodology

This report was produced using a range of keyword research tools to assess search volume across Australia for Q3 2025. Our dataset included 137 RV brands, 10,577 relevant keywords, and a total of 2,844,730 searches across the quarter. Top 20 Most-Searched: All Brands

Jayco retained its position as Australia’s most-searched RV brand with 24.1% in Q3 2025, though this represents a 7.0% relative decline from 25.9% in Q2. While the brand’s dominance remains unchallenged, this marks its steepest quarterly drop in recent periods, and a decline that has continued ever since we started writing these reports two years ago.

Snowy River Caravans strengthened its second-place position with 4.1%, gaining 2.5% relative to Q2’s 4.0%. The brand has now reached its strongest showing in over a year, firmly establishing itself as the clear runner-up in the category.

Market Direct (MDC) dropped to third with 3.8%, falling 5.0% relative to Q2’s 4.0%. After holding second position through multiple quarters, MDC now finds itself trailing Snowy River as operator interest shifts.

Austrack recorded 3.0%, down 9.1% from Q2’s 3.3%, as the brand continues retreating from the momentum it built earlier in the year.

Ezytrail finished fifth at 2.8%, declining 9.7% from 3.1%, extending its three-quarter downward trend.

Crusader Caravans reversed course with strong gains, jumping from 2.2% to 2.5%, a 13.6% relative increase that breaks the brand’s recent pattern of decline and pushes it to sixth place.

Avan slipped marginally to 2.5% from 2.6%, a 3.8% relative decrease that costs it one position despite remaining well-established in the mid-tier.

Avida climbed into ninth place with 2.3%, up from 2.1%, a 9.5% relative increase that reflects strengthening consumer interest in the brand’s diverse lineup.

Lifestyle Campers faced the top 10’s sharpest correction, dropping to 2.2% from 2.7%, an 18.5% relative decrease that erases much of the ground gained during its impressive Q2 surge.

Trust Retain Media for Industry-Leading Insights

Q3 2025 marked a pivotal quarter for Australia’s RV market, with Snowy River Caravans’ ascent to the top of both the Imported and RVMAP categories signalling a significant shift in brand dynamics. While Jayco maintained its overall dominance despite softening across categories, the quarter’s standout story was Titanium Caravans’ exceptional 42.9% surge in the All Brands category, alongside Crusader’s strong 19.0% recovery, demonstrating that dramatic repositioning remains possible in this competitive landscape.

The results reveal a market where brand momentum matters increasingly, with established players facing sustained pressure from rising competitors. Lifestyle Campers’ sharp correction, the continued decline of discontinued brands like Tango Caravans, and steady growth from brands like Avida and BruderX all point to a sector where visibility and strategic positioning directly impact consumer consideration.

Understanding these trends and how they impact your brand’s competitive standing is essential for strategic planning in an increasingly dynamic RV marketplace.
